Off-Grid Retreat

Have you ever wanted to find out what it’s REALLY like to live off the grid?

Cam & Michelle invite you to come and spend a night at their off-grid home – a place they call “Sunflower Farm”.

from-the-air-Sunflower-farmSunflower Farm is 150 acres of trees, ponds, rocks and wildlife. Depending on the season, you’ll enjoy hiking through our woods, canoeing or swimming in our ponds, exploring our gardens, gazing at the stars, listening and looking for the birds and animals we share our land with, skiing or snowshoeing around our property or simply curling up with a good book from our extensive library in front of our cozy woodstove.

4-kitchen-table-and-stove-sMeals are social events that take place around our family dining room table but you’ll enjoy the utmost in privacy in our separate guesthouse.

Cam is working towards the goal of making his home “zero-carbon” and with his extensive garden he aims to grow as much of his own food as possible. He is available to speak at conferences and other events and has motivated many people to integrate renewable energy into their lives, reduce their footprint on the planet and get started on the path to personal food, fuel and financial independence.
